HT 133 is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but overall a great pruner. I've owned the 133 for about 2 weeks now and run several tanks of fuel through it. Overall I'm very happy with it, though I do have a couple of gripes. The good:-Zero starting hassles. 'Nuff said.-Plenty of power--I cut a number of larger oak limbs around 8" or so in diameter and the 133 had no trouble whatsoever--that included cutting them off the trees and also cutting them up into more manageable pieces for firewood and disposal. I cut countless smaller oak (and other species) limbs--again, zero complaints in the power department. I don't see how you could need more power than this. The 133 is only slightly more costly than the smaller model pro saw but has a whopping 50% increase in power. IMHO it is well worth the extra cost.-Minimal vibration.-Extendable shaft looks to be very high quality. Reliably locks in place, even when pushing or pulling stubborn branches out of the way. The lock is easy to use even with dirty hands/gloves.-I am extremely happy with the durability of the Stihl chain. Even after multiple tanks of fuel cutting hard oak wood the chain is still sharp! The bad:-As other reviewers have mentioned the wood chips don't clear so well from the cutting head and tend to build up under the cover. I had to stop work a few times to remove the side cover and clear out the compacted oily chips/sawdust before resuming work. (Though the bar nut IS captive which means you can't lose it. That's a nice touch.)-I feel that the shoulder strap Stihl provides with this saw is not very good. It looks and feels cheap. And on more than one occasion I found that the metal clasp/hook on the strap somehow disconnected itself from the loop on the saw. I can see a cheap strap like that being supplied on an inexpensive low-end homeowner model, but it's ridiculous on a high-end professional model. Stihl, spend the extra $ and give us a good strap!-The quick-release cap for the chain oil is very annoying. There is a narrow gap around the edge of the cap which sawdust builds up in and this is a pain to clean out, which you must do whenever you refill the oil, otherwise you get sawdust in the clean oil tank. It's especially a pain when you're wearing work gloves and are covered in sawdust yourself. The cap can also be fiddly to replace. This needs to be redesigned to eliminate that groove which retains sawdust, and to a different type of cap that doesn't require as much care and is more tolerant of dirt and sawdust. The not-so-sure:-The plastic limb hook. As others have mentioned the hook for pulling down cut limbs is plastic. It does appear to be polycarbonate, which admittedly is a very tough plastic (it's the same thing used to make "bulletproof glass", safety glasses, and so on). But that said, it does look and feel a bit flimsy. So far I haven't had any trouble with it but time will tell.Overall I think my gripes are minor; as far as starting up easily and cutting wood without bogging down this pruner works 110%.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic cutting head broke off within 2 days. We purchased this item new from a dealer in Florida it lasted 2 Days in the plastic parts on the cutter head broke off the saw was too new to get replacement parts and after waiting for months for replacement parts they cost half the cost of the saw. A very poor design going to plastic on stills behalf

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over all excellant Plenty of power, safer then using a ladder, a little on heavy side, but not that bad because most of your time will be spent dragging & cleaning up the limbs. Have had it a few weeks and have burned 5 tanks of gas,(which is a lot of cutting) 90% of cutting has been on hedge tree limbs and it cuts them like butter, "amazing". I have had to tighten chain a couple times which is normal for any saw, Would recommend to anyone & glad I went with the bigger motor, runs great, I even use it to cut up the limbs once they are down to avoid the thorns as much as possible. No regrets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-designed, easy to maintain workhorse Easy to start and tougher than other pole trimmers I've used. It's exactly what I would expect from a Stihl. Hard to come up with a negative. If I had to nit-pick, I would get rid of the screw-off fuel cap and move to the design used on saws. Otherwise, it's definitely worth spending the money for the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly Designed and Engineered We work for a county roads department and use this saw everyday. Compared to the previous model, this saw is a disappointment:1) Everyone dislikes the 1/4 chain. Great for smaller twiggy branches, but terrible in bigger wood. We were going to switch out the sprocket and go back to the 3/8, but based on the other issue with the oil tank, we’re taking it back. 2) The head in general is poorly designed. Everything is weak plastic. There is no metal body around the oil tank and ours developed a hole next to the flip cap after only a few hours of use! The saw was not dropped or abused. No issues with the previous model. Also, hate the bar on the left side.We will be returning the ht-133 and looking at different products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dont buy I have nothing but problems both with the local dealer and the pole saw. My last pole saw was stolen and i've been disappointed with this plastic appointed Stihl product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality compared to previous model Not near the saw as the previous model, flimsy shaft that bends easy, won't extend half the time.
